On December 28, 1993, Reverend L. Mike Woodberry and his family became
members of Unity Baptist Church. At that time, Rev. Woodberry was named
Assistant to the Pastor. As the years progressed, he became Assistant Pastor
and then Co-Pastor in November 2000.

On December 19, 2004, Rev. Woodberry delivered his first sermon as pastor
of Unity. The sermon was entitled “The Joy of God’s Presence,” taken from
Hebrews 10:22.

Pastor Woodberry faithfully strives to serve the Lord. In addition to serving as
Senior Pastor, he labors in the following areas:

President, East Zion Consolidated District Association Congress
of Christian Education
2nd Vice President, Oklahoma Missionary Baptist Congress of
Christian Education
Instructor, Oklahoma Baptist School of Religion
Guest speaker, National Association of Black Social Workers
He has served as in instructor in a number of CLS schools
helping people cope with their grief.

Pastor Woodberry is also a sought after lecturer and instructor on the subjects of grief
management and bereavement ministries.

Personal:

Pastor Woodberry married the late Regenia Woodberry and is the father of four
daughters:
of spare time, he enjoys watching sports, tinkering around in the garage or enjoying a
good breakfast at Don’s Alley.

Pastor L. Mike Woodberry is committed to following the Lordship of Jesus
Christ, and leading Unity Baptist Church in whatever direction the Lord wants
her to go.
